Why verification matters
By default, your product can be listed on KittyLaunch, but it is not actively optimized for deeper search engine discovery in the same way as a Verified product.
Verification tells KittyLaunch that the product website and KittyLaunch page belong together. This helps us treat the page as more trustworthy and gives us a stronger reason to support the product with additional platform features.
Benefit 1: Higher product weight and visibility
Verified products receive stronger product weight inside KittyLaunch.
Product weight is a trust and visibility signal. The stronger your product weight, the better your product can perform across KittyLaunch discovery systems over time.
Verification is one of the clearest ways to show that your product is real, active, and connected to its official website.
Benefit 2: Verified checkmark
Verified products receive a visible checkmark.
This helps users feel more confident when they visit your product page. A checkmark does not mean KittyLaunch guarantees the product, but it does show that the creator has completed website verification.
Benefit 3: 10 Reputation Points for the maker
When your product becomes Verified, the maker can receive 10 Reputation Points.
Reputation Points help your creator level, vote weight, and Creator Leaderboard position.
Benefit 4: A do-follow backlink when allowed
Verified products can receive a do-follow backlink from KittyLaunch when allowed by product page rules.
This can help your product build a stronger web presence over time.
Benefit 5: A developer’s Upvote as a gift
When verification succeeds, KittyLaunch can add a developer’s Upvote to your product as a gift.
This is a system verification vote and helps your product start with an extra trust signal.
Verified-only feature 1: Deals
Verified products can create deals on KittyLaunch.
Deals let you add promo codes, discounts, or special offers for your product.
KittyLaunch deals pages are built with search engine structure in mind. If your product has real deals, your deals page may have a better chance of being discovered by users searching for discounts, promo codes, and offers.
In some cases, properly structured deal data may help Google understand discount information and display discount-related search features. This is not guaranteed because Google decides what appears in search results.
Another benefit is that a real deals page can give your product an additional indexable page and another do-follow link opportunity.

Verified-only feature 2: Testimonial Embed
Verified products can turn KittyLaunch reviews into website testimonials.
You can highlight selected reviews and embed them on your own website as social proof, similar to a wall of love.
This is useful because your best reviews should not only live on KittyLaunch. You can also show them on your landing page, pricing page, footer, or customer proof section.
Many standalone testimonial tools charge a monthly fee. KittyLaunch includes the testimonial embed feature for Verified products because we want makers to build a fanbase and collect community-driven product feedback without adding another subscription.
Verified-only feature 3: KittyPilot
Launching a product takes a lot of preparation.
Albert, the founder of KittyLaunch, is also an indie maker. He understands how much work a launch takes. Makers need email drafts, social posts, invite messages, product images, launch reminders, and different visual formats for different platforms.
Today, there are many social platforms. Twitter or X, Threads, Instagram, Pinterest, and other communities all work differently. Some need short posts. Some need vertical images. Some need square images. Some need a direct message.
For indie makers who are not strong at marketing, this can be painful.
That is why KittyLaunch includes KittyPilot for Verified products.

How to become Verified
There are two main ways to verify a product.
Method 1: Verify while creating a product
When you create a product, KittyLaunch prompts you to complete verification during the launch setup.
After you finish Core Details, you move to Launch Settings.
In the Verification section:
- Copy the badge embed code.
- Paste it anywhere on your website. We recommend the footer.
- Publish your website change.
- Return to KittyLaunch.
- Click Verify Badge to confirm placement.
If the badge is detected, your product can launch as Verified.
Method 2: Verify after the product already exists
If your product is already created, you can verify it from your dashboard.
- Go to your Dashboard at https://kittylaunch.com/dashboard.
- Find your product.
- Open the Product Dashboard.
- Use the left side navigation and open the Badge tab.
- Find the Badge Verification section.
- Copy the badge embed code.
- Paste it anywhere on your website. We recommend the footer.
- Publish your website change.
- Return to KittyLaunch.
- Click Verify Badge to confirm placement.
Where to place the badge
The footer is usually the best place.
You can also place the badge in:
- A product page
- A trust section
- A launch announcement page
- A press or awards section
The important part is that KittyLaunch must be able to find the badge in the HTML of your website.
Troubleshooting verification
If the badge is not detected, check:
- The badge is on the correct website
- The product website URL in KittyLaunch is correct
- The page is public
- The badge link does not use nofollow
- Your website changes have been deployed
- Your site does not block the KittyLaunch scanner
If your website is a JavaScript-rendered app, place the badge in a server-rendered or static section such as the footer. The scanner reads raw HTML and does not run your JavaScript.
Verification can be revoked
Verified status depends on the badge staying on your website.
KittyLaunch may scan Verified products daily. If the badge is removed, the product can lose Verified status. The system vote and Verified product Reputation Points may also be removed.
SuperKitty auto verification
SuperKitty can auto verify the product as part of the upgrade.
That means:
- you do not need the normal manual badge step for activation
- the product is treated as verified immediately
- the product also unlocks SuperKitty only systems, such as waitlist and the Feedback Portal

Is verification required to launch?
No. You can launch without verification. However, Verified products receive stronger trust signals and access to more features.
Does verification guarantee Google rankings?
No. Verification improves trust and allows KittyLaunch to support the product more deeply, but search engines decide their own rankings.
Can I verify before launch?
Yes. You can verify during product creation before the product goes live.
Can I verify after launch?
Yes. Go to Dashboard, open the Product Dashboard, then open the Badge tab.
Can I remove the badge after verification?
You should not remove it if you want to keep Verified status. If the badge is removed, verification can be revoked.
Why does nofollow fail verification?
The Verified Badge is meant to confirm a real connection between your website and KittyLaunch. The badge link must use the provided code and must not block the link with nofollow.
Does every Verified product get Deals, Testimonial Embed, and KittyPilot?
Yes. These features are designed for Verified products.
