Highlight Guide

Highlight is a monthly Add-on subscription for one KittyLaunch product.

It provides recurring placement while the subscription and product remain eligible.

Highlight placements

An active Highlight product appears in:

• Today's Highlights on the KittyLaunch homepage
• the Highlight banner shown on public product pages

The Pricing page > Extra visibility section includes Show Example controls for both placements.

Subscribe to Highlight

1. Sign in to KittyLaunch.
2. Open Dashboard.
3. Select the product.
4. Open Add-ons.
5. Select Highlight.
6. Review the placement examples and current price.
7. Select Turn on Highlight.
8. Complete checkout.
9. Return to the success page.
10. Allow payment confirmation to finish.

After activation, the Dashboard displays Active status and the next billing date.

Eligible products

The subscription flow checks:

• product ownership
• existing live Highlight subscription
• product status

Draft, scheduled, and published products may appear in the owner Add-ons area. The product needs a usable public destination for visitor clicks.

Directory and banned products are blocked from normal owner subscription actions.

One live Highlight subscription is accepted per product.

Active status

Active status means recurring billing and placement are running.

The Dashboard shows:

• product name
• Active label
• next billing date
• monthly amount
• Cancel control

Cancel Highlight

Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current billing period.

To cancel:

1. Open Product Dashboard.
2. Open Add-ons, Highlight.
3. Select Cancel.
4. Review the displayed end date.
5. Confirm cancellation.

The placement remains active through the paid period. The Dashboard shows Cancels followed by the date.

Resume Highlight

Use Resume before the scheduled end date to keep recurring billing active.

1. Open Add-ons, Highlight.
2. Select Resume.
3. Confirm that the cancellation notice is removed.
4. Check the next billing date.

A product promoted to KittyDir cannot resume Highlight through normal owner controls.

Failed renewal and On hold

A failed renewal pauses the Highlight placement.

The product is removed from Today's Highlights and product-page Highlight banners. Follow the payment instructions in the email or Dashboard, then restore the subscription through the available control.

Highlight Analytics

The Product Dashboard may record:

• impressions
• opens
• visits from Highlight placements

Highlight activity also contributes to All Analytics.

Use Highlight Analytics for the placement subset and All for combined product activity.

Difference from Spotlight

Highlight:

• uses a monthly subscription
• appears in Today's Highlights
• appears on public product pages
• continues across billing periods

Spotlight:

• uses a one-time ticket
• appears in the Featured homepage area
• runs for 7 or 30 days

Highlight does not guarantee:

• votes
• Top 3
• sales
• sign-ups
• search ranking
• a fixed number of visitors

FAQ

Does cancellation remove Highlight immediately?

The placement remains active through the current paid period.

What happens after a failed renewal?

The placement pauses. Follow the payment recovery instructions.

Does Highlight include Spotlight?

Highlight and Spotlight use separate Add-on records and placements.

May a KittyDir product resume Highlight?

A Directory product cannot resume Highlight through normal owner controls.
