AICost (AI//COST) is an independent LLM API price desk: compare model pricing across OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and more. It tracks input, output and cached-input rates per million tokens for more than 300 models from over 30 providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, DeepSeek, Alibaba Qwen, Moonshot Kimi, Zhipu GLM and Cohere.

It is built for developers, founders and teams who make real decisions about AI spend. Every rate is read by hand from the vendor's own pricing page and stamped with the date it was checked, with the source linked on each model page. Price changes are kept in a history, missing data is left blank rather than guessed, the methodology is published, and corrections go into a public log.

Each model has its own page with current rates, a blended effective cost for agentic workloads, price history, real-world cost presets and a built-in calculator, and every provider has a hub listing its full lineup. Four free calculators need no signup: an LLM API cost calculator with reasoning tokens, cache hit rates, batch tiers, shareable scenarios and CSV export; a token counter; a subscription-versus-API break-even tool for ChatGPT, Claude and Google AI plans; and a text-to-speech cost calculator.

Side-by-side comparisons pair models and tools with live pricing, neutral benchmarks and a verdict by use case. An agents section prices coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor across every way to buy them, and a questions section gives dated answers about what AI tools can and cannot do.
