Upload a contract, NDA, lease, employment agreement, terms of service, or privacy policy, and you get back a structured plain-English breakdown. ClearTerms reads the whole document and lays it out in clear sections instead of dense legal language, so you can see what you are agreeing to without reading every clause twice: what each side is committing to, the dates and amounts that matter, how the agreement ends, and the parts worth slowing down on.

You can ask follow-up questions about the document. Answers come from the document's own text, not from general knowledge about contracts, so what you get back reflects your specific agreement rather than how a typical agreement usually reads. Ask what happens if you leave early, what the notice period is, or what one particular clause means in practice.

ClearTerms accepts PDF, Word, plain text, HTML, and RTF files up to 50MB, so most documents work without converting anything first.

Documents are encrypted at rest and in transit, stored in private buckets with no public URLs, and never used to train any AI model.

It is built for anyone signing something they did not write: freelancers reviewing client contracts, renters going through a lease, employees weighing an offer, founders checking a vendor's terms. ClearTerms is a reading tool, not legal advice. It helps you understand the document in front of you and walk into the conversation knowing which questions are worth asking.

Two things I added that weren't in your source and you should sanity-check: the list of what the breakdown contains (obligations, dates/amounts, termination, flagged clauses) and the "not legal advice" line. Cut either if it overstates what the product does.
