About Egmatic

Egmatic is a no-code editor for 2D games: visual node logic, drag-and-drop scenes, real-time preview. Exports to Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, Web.

Egmatic is a no-code editor for 2D games, built for solo developers and small teams who want to ship a finished game, not just prototype one. You do not write code and you do not need a programming background: every part of the game — logic, scenes, behavior — is assembled visually, and the editor takes care of turning it into a running build.

Game logic is built in a visual node editor. Instead of functions and syntax, you connect nodes that describe what happens in your game: movement, collisions, input, UI, timers, events. The node graph is the source of truth for behavior, which makes logic easy to read, easy to change, and easy to revisit weeks later.

Scenes are built with drag and drop. You place objects, backgrounds and props on the canvas, move and resize them directly, and compose levels the same way you would sketch them on paper. Real-time preview runs next to the editor, so every change is visible immediately, with no build step and no waiting: you edit, you look, you keep going.

One project exports everywhere a 2D game needs to be: Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS and Web. You build the game once, and the same project produces native desktop builds, mobile builds and a browser version, without maintaining separate codebases per platform.

Egmatic is designed so a game never gets locked inside the tool. The editor writes clean, versioned JSON contracts: everything in your project is stored in an open, readable format that plays well with version control. The runtime is a separate engine built on .NET 9 and MonoGame, independent from the editor itself. That separation means your game keeps running and can be maintained even outside Egmatic.

The roadmap focuses on the parts indie developers usually dread: player accounts, cloud saves and leaderboards are coming, all without writing or hosting a backend. The goal is a complete path from first scene to published 2D game, where shipping is the default outcome rather than the exception.

Egmatic is free during early access.

Hi everyone! I'm Vladislav, maker of Egmatic. Shipping a 2D game usually demands two skills at once — code and design — and most no-code tools hit a wall at logic complexity or lock the project inside. Egmatic takes another route: a visual node editor for game logic, drag-and-drop scenes, real-time preview with no build step. One project exports to Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS and Web. Clean versioned JSON, separate runtime — games never get locked in. Free during early access — I'd love
