BaseAcross is a US company formation service for founders who live outside the United States. You can form a Wyoming or Delaware LLC, or a Delaware C-Corp for companies that plan to raise money from US investors. You never need to visit the United States, and you do not need a US Social Security Number.

What Launch includes: company formation, an EIN without an SSN, a first-year registered agent, an Operating Agreement or bylaws, guidance for bank, Stripe and PayPal applications, and contracts and signatures. Email, a US business phone number and a website are free for three months.

Launch costs $249 a year, plus the state filing fee at cost. The state fee is shown before you pay. For example, the Wyoming filing fee is $102.40, so the first year in Wyoming is $351.40, then $309 a year. Of that, $249 goes to BaseAcross and $60 goes to the state.

Operate costs $199 a month, billed yearly at $2,388, plus the state fee at cost. It includes five business email accounts, a US business number, managed WordPress, bookkeeping with a year-end pack, and 10 GB of document storage.

Add-ons are available: business email at $30 a year each, a US number at $5 a month, a toll-free number at $15 a month, managed WordPress at $20 a month, an expedited EIN for $199 once, and annual compliance at $149 a year.

Timing: Wyoming filing and approval is same day. The EIN takes 1 to 2 weeks when expedited, or 20 to 30 business days on the standard route. Placing an order takes about four minutes.

Banks and platforms: BaseAcross lists Mercury, Wise, Stripe, PayPal, Payoneer, Shopify and WordPress as platforms founders apply to. Approval is the provider's decision.

Refunds: you get a full refund before filing. After filing, neither the BaseAcross fee nor the state fee is refunded.
