DropReady is a virtual waiting room protecting e-commerce stores from crashing during sudden traffic spikes - drops, launches, flash promotions.

What is DropReady?

DropReady is a virtual waiting room for e-commerce stores that can get more traffic in a few seconds than their server can handle - drops, limited releases, ticket sales, Black Friday promotions. Instead of crashing, excess visitors are routed into a fair queue and admitted with a signed access token once your server can handle them.

Built in Go + Redis, running as a dedicated instance per client - not shared multi-tenant infrastructure. Currently live in production with our first client, handling real traffic.

How it works

Traffic spikes on your store, DropReady automatically starts routing excess visitors into a waiting room.
Visitors wait in a fair queue while your server handles only as many customers as it can actually support.
When it's their turn, the visitor gets a signed access token and lands in the store normally, without losing their place.

Who it's for

Stores running PrestaShop, WooCommerce, Magento, or a custom Laravel/PHP app
Seasonal or one-off traffic spikes, not consistently high traffic year-round
Teams without their own DevOps, but who can upload a file over FTP

Not a fit if you're on Shopify Plus (built-in queue already) or already running Cloudflare Enterprise.

Real numbers, not marketing claims

Tested on a real client's production infrastructure (a budget Polish VPS, 1 vCPU / 4GB RAM): 500 requests/s held at 100% success with ~123ms latency. Raw signing engine benchmark: 31,718 req/s, 200,000/200,000 requests succeeded. Full load-test data, including a bug we found and fixed along the way, is published on the blog - built in public.

Why not Queue-it or Cloudflare Waiting Room?

Each client gets an isolated backend and database instead of shared multi-tenant infra - control over data residency (e.g. hosting in Poland/EU). Integration is a single PHP file that works anywhere PHP runs, no CDN/DNS requirement, no Shopify Plus plan needed.
