tmps.fyi – Online Clipboard

tmps.fyi is a free online clipboard and temporary file-sharing tool for moving content between your phone, tablet, and computer. It runs in your browser, so you can get started without installing an app or creating an account.

It is more than a text clipboard. Paste text, share clipboard images, or upload files on one device, then copy or download them on another. Connected devices share the same space in real time. On desktop, you can also capture screenshots directly from the sharing toolbar and share them with the other devices in your space.

To begin, create a named space and open it on your other device. You can join using the same space name, an invitation link, or a QR code. An optional space password lets you restrict access. The workflow is designed for short, practical handoffs without setting up a permanent workspace.

For example, move a link or a paragraph from your phone to your computer, transfer an image between browsers, send a file to another device, or share a desktop screenshot while explaining something. It is useful when you switch devices during everyday work and want to move content without emailing it to yourself or installing another sharing app.

Temporary means temporary: tmps.fyi is not intended as a permanent archive or a backup service. By default, a 10-minute inactivity countdown starts after the last device leaves the space. When the countdown ends, the space and its stored content are deleted. Copy or download anything you want to keep before cleanup. This is not a fixed ten-minute timer that starts when each file is uploaded.
