Reputation Points, also called RP, measure your contribution and trust on KittyLaunch.
RP is earned when you participate in useful ways, such as launching products, receiving upvotes, writing reviews, receiving reviews, gaining followers, verifying products, and keeping Daily Streaks.
Your RP also determines your level. Higher levels can give your upvotes more vote weight.
What are Reputation Points?
Reputation Points are KittyLaunch's way to recognize meaningful activity.
They help show that a user is active, trusted, and contributing to the community.
RP can affect:
- your creator level
- your vote weight
- your Creator Leaderboard rank
- your public reputation on KittyLaunch
- how other users understand your history on the platform
Ways to earn RP
You can earn RP from several platform actions.
Common RP sources include:
- Product goes live, +5 RP
- Product receives an upvote from another user, +1 RP
- Product gets verified, +10 RP
- You write a review for another product, +2 RP
- Your product receives a review from another user, +2 RP
- You gain a new follower, +2 RP
- You claim a Daily Streak reward, +3 to +20 RP
Some RP rewards are given once per action or once per relationship. For example, review RP is limited so users cannot repeatedly farm RP from the same product and same reviewer.
Product goes live RP
When your product is published, you may receive launch RP.
This rewards creators who bring new products to the platform.
Draft products do not count as live launches. A product normally needs to become published before launch RP is awarded.
RP from receiving upvotes
When another user upvotes your product, you can earn RP.
Self-upvotes do not provide the same creator benefit.
If a vote is later invalidated, removed, or tied to abuse, related trust signals may change.
RP from verification
Verified products can award +10 RP to the product owner.
This RP is connected to the product's verified status. If verification is revoked, the related RP can also be removed.
Verification can be revoked if the KittyLaunch badge is removed, blocked, or no longer detectable on the product website.
RP from writing reviews
When you write a review for another user's product, you can earn +2 RP.
This reward is limited to once per user per product.
Reviewing your own product does not award review RP.
RP from receiving reviews
When your product receives a review from another user, you can earn +2 RP.
This reward is limited to one RP event per reviewer per product.
If the review is deleted or judged to be fake, the related RP can be removed.
RP from followers
When another user follows you, you can receive +2 RP.
If that user later unfollows you, the follower RP can be removed.
This keeps follower RP connected to real follower relationships.
RP from Daily Streak
Daily Streak rewards are based on your streak length.
- 1 to 6 days, 3 RP per day
- 7 to 29 days, 5 RP per day
- 30 to 99 days, 10 RP per day
- 100 to 364 days, 15 RP per day
- 365 days or more, 20 RP per day
You must complete 3 new upvotes in a UTC day and manually claim the streak reward.
RP can be reversed
Some RP is connected to actions that can later be removed.
Examples:
- If a Verified Badge is removed, Verified product RP can be removed.
- If a review is deleted, related review RP can be removed.
- If someone unfollows you, follower RP can be removed.
- If abusive activity is found, related platform benefits may be adjusted.
This makes RP more reliable because it stays connected to real activity.
Level tiers
Your level is based on your total RP.
KittyLaunch uses these level tiers:
- Level 1, Newcomer, 0 RP needed, vote weight 1
- Level 2, Explorer, 200 RP needed, vote weight 2
- Level 3, Builder, 800 RP needed, vote weight 3
- Level 4, Maker, 2500 RP needed, vote weight 4
- Level 5, Legend, 5000 RP needed, vote weight 5
When your RP reaches a new threshold, your level can increase.
What vote weight means
Vote weight controls how much your upvote adds to a product.
For example:
- A Level 1 user adds 1 vote weight.
- A Level 3 user adds 3 vote weight.
- A Level 5 user adds 5 vote weight.
This means higher-level users can have more impact on product rankings.
Why higher-level users have stronger vote weight
KittyLaunch rewards users who contribute over time.
Users with higher RP have usually launched, reviewed, voted, earned trust, and participated more consistently.
Vote weight gives trusted community members more influence while still keeping daily vote limits in place.

Creator Leaderboard and RP
The Creator Leaderboard ranks users by Reputation Points.
All-time ranking uses total RP. Period rankings use RP earned during that period.
RP is not only about one launch. It measures broader contribution across KittyLaunch.
