Use this guide when something on KittyLaunch does not work as expected.
If a problem is not listed here, contact support with your account email, username, product name, and a short explanation of what happened.
Account and login issues
Email not verified
If your email is not verified, check your inbox and spam folder.
You may need to request a new verification email.
Make sure you are checking the same email address used to create your KittyLaunch account.
Cannot log in
Check that your email and password are correct.
If you recently reset your password, use the newest password.
If your account is suspended, the login page may show a message asking you to contact support.
Forgot password
Use the forgot password flow from the login page.
Check your inbox and spam folder for the reset email.
Password reset links may expire, so request a new one if the old link no longer works.
Username not available
Usernames must be unique.
If a username is already taken or invalid, choose another one.
Avoid usernames that may impersonate another person, brand, or product.
Upvote and streak issues
Daily upvote limit reached
You can cast up to 3 new upvotes per UTC day.
If you reach the daily limit, wait until the next UTC day.
Depending on your timezone, this may not match your local midnight.
Upvote did not count
An upvote may not count if:
- you are not logged in
- you already upvoted the product
- you reached the daily limit
- the product is not eligible
- the vote was later invalidated
- there is a temporary network issue
Refresh the page and check your upvote status.
Streak did not update
Daily Streak requires 3 new upvotes in a UTC day.
After completing 3 upvotes, go to Dashboard > Reputation and claim your streak reward.
The streak reward is not automatic.
Streak was lost
A streak can reset if you miss a day or do not claim the streak reward.
You can start a new streak by completing 3 new upvotes and claiming again.
Product creation is blocked
KittyLaunch may require you to complete your Daily Streak before creating a product.
Complete 3 upvotes, claim the streak reward from the Reputation Dashboard, then return to product creation.
Verification issues
Badge not found
Make sure:
- the badge code is on the correct website
- the website URL in KittyLaunch is correct
- the page is publicly accessible
- the badge image is not blocked
- your latest website changes are deployed
- the badge appears in raw HTML
After fixing the badge, click Verify Badge again.
JavaScript app warning
KittyLaunch reads raw HTML. It does not run your website JavaScript.
If your site is a React, Vue, Next.js, Nuxt, or Gatsby app, place the badge in a static or server-rendered section such as the footer.
If the badge only appears after client-side JavaScript runs, the scanner may not detect it.
Nofollow detected
The badge link cannot use nofollow.
Use the provided embed code. It uses rel=“noopener” only.
If your website builder automatically adds nofollow, adjust the link settings or place the badge somewhere else.
Website cannot be accessed
The scanner may fail if your website:
- blocks bots
- has SSL issues
- blocks the KittyLaunch user agent
- returns an error page
- requires login
- redirects incorrectly
Fix the access issue, publish the change, then try again.
Verification was revoked
Verification can be revoked if:
- the badge is removed
- the badge page is no longer accessible
- the badge link uses nofollow
- the product website URL changes and no longer contains the badge
- the website returns an error during a successful scan
When verification is revoked, the product can lose Verified status, the system verification vote, and related RP.
Add the badge back, publish the change, then click Verify Badge again.
Product visibility issues
Product not visible
Your product may not be visible because it is:
- draft
- scheduled for a future date
- banned
- deleted
- outside the selected leaderboard period
- still being processed
Check your Product Dashboard for status.
Product not on the leaderboard
Leaderboards are period-based.
For weekly ranking, the product launch date must fall inside the current week.
For monthly ranking, the product launch date must fall inside the current month.
Demoted products may be hidden from public leaderboard views.
Product cannot be edited
You may not be logged in as the product owner.
The product may also be banned, deleted, or in a restricted state.
Check your account and product dashboard.
Image upload issues
Image upload failed
Check:
- file type
- file size
- daily upload limit
- image content
- network connection
Supported image types include JPG, PNG, GIF, and WebP.
Each image can be up to 1 MB.
KittyLaunch checks the real file content, not only the file extension.
Image looks blurry or unclear
Use a higher-quality source image.
Compress the file without making text unreadable.
Screenshots should show the real product experience and be readable on smaller screens.
Featured ticket issues
Ticket already used
Each Featured Ticket license key can only be activated once.
If the ticket is already used, it cannot be claimed again.
Draft product cannot use Featured
Draft products cannot use Featured Tickets.
Publish or schedule the product first.
Scheduled product cannot use Featured now
For scheduled products, the Featured start date should be on or after the launch date.
Choose a valid future date.
Payment still processing
Wait a moment and refresh the checkout success page.
You may also check your email for the license key.
If the issue continues, contact support with your checkout information.
SuperKitty issues
SuperKitty was purchased, but the product does not look updated
Refresh the product dashboard and confirm that the activation step completed.
SuperKitty changes several systems at once, including verification and launch options, so stale dashboard state can be confusing at first.
Current week is still blocked after buying SuperKitty
Make sure you are editing the SuperKitty upgraded product itself, usually from its draft or existing product record. The bypass applies to the product with SuperKitty, not to a separate new product that was never upgraded.
Waitlist issues
Waitlist is not showing to visitors
The most common reason is that the product does not have SuperKitty.
For non SuperKitty products visitors do not see an active waitlist form
Joined waitlist, but no confirmation email arrived
For SuperKitty waitlist joins, check:
- the correct email address
- spam or promotions folder
- whether the join was made as a guest or logged in user
Maker cannot see waitlist emails
The maker can only see emails from users who explicitly agreed to share their email with the maker.
Feedback Portal issues
Roadmap, Changelog, Feature Requests, or Status tab is missing
Tab visibility depends on portal settings.
Current default behavior is:
- roadmap on
- changelog on
- feature requests off
- status off
If you are the owner, check the admin settings for that module.
Public users cannot see feature requests
Feature Requests may be enabled but not public. In that case, submissions can still be accepted while the public list stays hidden.
Status page is missing
Status visibility depends on uptime monitoring being enabled.
If monitoring is off, the public status tab does not appear.
Uptime issues
Cannot enable monitoring
Uptime monitoring requires:
- a SuperKitty product
- a valid monitorable website URL
Check now failed
Manual check now has a cooldown. If you run it too often, you need to wait before trying again.
Relaunch issues
Relaunch option is not available
Relaunch is only for published products.
It can also be blocked if the product is under moderation.
Website URL cannot be changed during relaunch
That is expected behavior. Relaunch keeps the website URL fixed.
Old upvotes disappeared after relaunch
That is also expected. The current launch count resets, and the previous launch count moves into archived launch history.
Deal issues
Deal not showing
Check that:
- your product is verified
- the deal is active
- the deal has valid details
- the deal page was saved successfully
- the deal has not expired
If the deal was removed after a report, check your email or dashboard notifications.
Promo code does not work
Test the code on your own website or checkout flow.
If the code is broken, update or remove the deal before users report it.
Deal was reported
Users can report deals that are broken, misleading, expired, or fake.
If KittyLaunch confirms the issue, the deal may be removed and you may receive a warning.
Review and testimonial issues
Review not appearing
A review may not appear if:
- the user did not submit it successfully
- the user was not logged in
- the review was removed
- the review is still loading
- there is a temporary issue
Refresh the page and check again.
Testimonial Embed not available
Testimonial Embed is available for verified products.
You also need highlighted reviews for useful embed content.
Go to the Reviews tab, highlight selected reviews, then copy the embed code.
Highlighted review not showing in embed
Check that the review is highlighted.
Refresh the page where the embed appears.
Make sure the embed code was copied correctly.
Analytics and notification issues
Analytics look delayed
Analytics may take time to update.
Refresh later if numbers seem delayed.
If the issue continues, compare normal product analytics and Featured Analytics because they measure different sources.
Email notification did not arrive
Check:
- spam folder
- correct email address
- inbox filters
- email provider blocks
- delivery delay
Some events may create in-app notifications without sending email.
In-app notification link does not open expected page
Refresh the app and try again.
If the target product or review was deleted, banned, or moderated, the link may no longer open the original page.
When to contact support
Contact support if:
- you cannot access your account
- your product disappeared and you do not know why
- your payment succeeded but no license key appeared
- your badge is correctly installed but verification still fails
- your product was moderated and you need review
- a bug blocks your launch
Include:
- account email
- username
- product name
- product URL if available
- screenshot if useful
- short explanation of what you expected and what happened
FAQ
Should I refresh the page first?
Yes. Some issues are temporary or caused by stale browser state.
Should I check my dashboard?
Yes. Product status, verification status, analytics, tickets, and notifications are often easier to understand from the dashboard.
Can support fix invalid votes?
KittyLaunch may review suspicious activity, but invalidated votes are part of platform safety and ranking fairness.
Can support restore a deleted product?
No, deletion is meant to be final.
