Breakly - Screen Time Limit

Breakly is an iOS app that fights doomscrolling: it schedules mini and long breaks that lock you out of distracting apps.

## What it does

Many people know they should put their phone down but keep scrolling anyway, especially late at night. A simple reminder is easy to ignore. Breakly takes a different approach: when a break starts, the apps you chose to block are locked, so the break is actually enforced rather than just suggested.

## Features

- Scheduled breaks: plan mini breaks and long breaks that lock you out of distracting apps at the times you choose.

- Strict Mode: once a break starts in Strict Mode, it stays active until it ends.

- Whitelist: keep essential apps available during breaks so you can still reach what you genuinely need.

- Emergency Skip: a way to end a break early for real exceptions.

- Built for iPhone: Breakly works as an app blocker and screen time tool on iOS.

## Who it is for

Breakly is for iPhone users who want to stop late-night scrolling or reduce time spent in distracting apps, and who find that willpower and plain screen time reminders are not enough. It suits students, remote workers and anyone who wants regular phone-free pauses during the day or a firm cut-off in the evening.

## How it works

You choose which apps count as distracting, set up when mini breaks and long breaks should happen, and optionally mark essential apps as allowed. When a break begins, the blocked apps are locked. Short breaks interrupt the habit of continuous scrolling, and longer breaks give you extended time away from your phone.
