Directory Dash
A free rage game where fake directories reject your startup

About Directory Dash
A free, one-tap rage game: run your startup through fake startup directories and get rejected in uncomfortably familiar ways. No login, no install.
Directory Dash is a free, single-page browser game built as a satirical launch-week toy. Enter your own startup's domain and it becomes a cube that has to run, jump and dodge its way through a row of fictional startup directories to get listed. Fake red spikes are outright rejections, red stars are 1-star reviews, and there are captcha blocks, cookie and newsletter popups, and slow "pending review" zones. It plays like a rage-platformer: quick deaths, short snarky rejection messages, instant respawn.
Founders know the drill: submit to a directory, wait, get a form-letter rejection, resubmit somewhere else. Directory Dash turns that into a one-button game. Dying and reading the messages is the point; finishing clean feels like a miracle.
What it actually does: one tap or click to jump, hold to keep jumping, on desktop and mobile. Checkpoints are on by default for an easier, forgiving run, and turning them off is the deliberate hard mode. Every run, finished or given up, gets a permanent shareable link and image card. There is a live public leaderboard with the Most Rejected Startups, plus best runs with and without checkpoints. Share buttons cover X and LinkedIn, with a plain copy-results fallback.
It is genuinely free: no account, no paid tier, no install. The only thing it takes is the domain you type in and the run's score. The directories are fake, nothing is actually submitted, and the game says so on the page.
Directory Dash is made by Blastra, an AI tool that submits real products to real directories. The game is the comic version of the grind Blastra solves for real, and it is not a directory itself. Best fit: indie hackers, Product Hunt and launch-week regulars, and anyone who has submitted a product to a directory and will recognize the jokes.
